Third-grader Zeke Meeks needs to win the prize in the science project contest because the class bully is threatening him, but so far all his ideas are ending in messy disasters--can his friend Hector save the day?

Annoyed because his mother has been packing boring, healthy lunches, third-grader Zeke has not made either a card or a gift for Mother's Day--then at the last moment he has a change of heart and has to scramble to make both.

It is Television-Turnoff Week, and Zeke and his friends are wondering what they will do with their time without their favorite programs and videogames.

Zeke Meeks will be nine soon, but he is not looking forward to a party that his sisters want to take over and nobody but his closest friends want to attend--but the alternative is going to Grace Chang's party on the same day, and she is really scary.

Mother's Day is coming up and all of Zeke's classmates are planning great gifts for their moms. But not Zeke. He's tired of his mom's healthy food and all her rules, and he doesn't think she deserves a thing. But when he starts thinking about all the good things his mom does, he starts to feel a little guilty. Will he have time to make the perfect gift, or will Mother's Day be a big meltdown?

Halloween should be nothing but trick-or-treating, fun, and candy, but that's is not how it goes for Zeke. Costume troubles, a fight with Hector, and lame treats all mess with Zeke's holiday. Can Zeke overcome it all and save his Halloween?

As a rule, school fund-raising is no fun. But Zeke Meeks is determined to become the best fund-raiser around. After all, the student who sells the most cake mixes will win four tickets to Thrillsville amusement park. There's just one problem. Zeke is a terrible salesperson. Maybe his great grandma can teach him a thing or two about selling.
