Struggling with the recent death of his wife, Michael Kapinsky is persuaded by his psychologist to participate in a new kind of group therapy by entering a virtual world called Second Life. Once there, Michael discovers that murder is not just confined to the real world. Victims whose crime scenes he has attended have also been executed in the virtual world. Under his new alter ego, Michael embarks on an investigation with escort girl Doobie Littlething....
