The Dowager Countess reveals she has a villa in the south of France, and many of the family follow her there for a rest while some of the family stay behind to keep an eye on the cast and crew of a film which is shooting at the grand estate.

The police interrogate Linda about her involvement in Micky's death. After arguing with the mother of Tom's son, Gail deals with her own mother's increasingly bad dementia and considers putting her into a home.

On Sue's birthday, detectives come to Linda with new information about her husband's disappearance, including evidence that Micky was on the phone with another woman when he went overboard.
