Susan complains to Bill that they are in a romance rut. Bill decides to surprise Susan with tickets to a Chris Isaak concert. But Bill is the one in for a surprise when Susan reveals that she and Chris Isaak (as HIMSELF) have a history together.

Bill invests a hefty chunk of money in his brother Dan's latest "sure-thing" business proposition, -- something he's done too many times before. Determined to put a stop to it, Susan pushes Bill to talk to his brother (guest star STEPHEN DUNHAM -- The Mummy) about being a responsible adult. When Trent and Lauren get into a feud over a pen, Bryan plays his siblings against each other for his own gain.

When Susan tells Bill she misses the excitement of young love, he decides to revive that feeling by recreating the best moments from their dating days. While they're out, Lauren and Trent have to babysit Bryan, but they each have dates to go see a movie. The only solution is to take him to the movies as well -- which is a great plan until Bryan disappears. NASCAR driver CARL EDWARDS guest-stars.

Trent gets invited to a party, and Bill and Susan immediately assume alcohol will be present and decide to check Trent's Facebook page to see if he's going. Meanwhile, Raffles, the family dog, gets frightened by a backfire from AJ's "vanabago" and hides under Mr. Faulkner's house. And getting him out is no easy task.

Susan wants to earn a little extra spending money, so she decides to sell homemade muffins. When her business becomes surprisingly successful, Bill is left to pick up the slack at home.
