Ryoma Echizen, after spending several years playing tennis in America, enrolls at at Seishun Academy, but his confidence raises the hackles of some older students on the tennis team and they challenge him to a game.

The quest continues for the gritty players at Seishun Academy. With their sights dead-set on making it all the way to the Nationals, they must outclass every team that stands in their way. Eiji's exhaustion threatens Seishun Academy's chances against St. Rudolph's. To make matters worse, Ryoma Echizen must then face the infamous lefty killer Yuta with his impressive record of 16-0.
