Description
Panelists were founding families of Round Rock and authors of books about Round Rock. Rabenaldt is from the Krienke family, and Castillo, Hernandez, and Blanco are third generation Mexican Americans whose grandparents came to Round Rock to work at Austin White Lime. A significant portion of the presentation centers on the founding of St. Williams Church and early life of the Mexican Americans. Bob Brinkman, Karen Thompson, and Linda Scarbrough write about the history of Round Rock and Williamson County and have authored books about Round Rock/Williamson County history. Panelists chosen by Library Director, Dale Ricklefs.
