Includes document and a copy of bridge construction and repair blueprints from 1905-1943 as well as undated blueprints.
Description
The train tressle over what is now (2011) A. W. Grimes south of Highway 79 was built in 1906. It is one of the oldest surviving railroad bridges in the area and an excellent example of early 20th centry railroad engineering. The study was prepared for the Texas Historical Commission and the City of Round Rock as part of the historical marker process.
