Description
This novel is written by Wang Anyi (1954–), the author of “The Song of Everlasting Sorrow (1995)”, which won the 1998 Shanghai Literary and Art Award and 2000 Mao Dun Literature Prize. Wu Baobao, the protagonist, is kidnapped to a remote, isolated mountainous region by mistake. He then meets numerous nameless people in an absurd Zen adventure.
