Babar is a charming and charismatic elephant. He brought his love of the city back to the great forest and built the happy kingdom of Celesteville. Though he is a dedicated king and world traveler, Babar is happiest when picnicking at the lake with his family. He believes great things are possible if one never gets discouraged, and always searches out every cloud's silver lining.

Young Babar must save his homeland from the invasion of Rataxes and his band of marauding rhinos. The brave young King of the Elephants must work out a plan to outwit the attacking army, save his ladylove and win freedom for the residents of Elephantland.
