In the years 1818 and 1832, the North Carolina Legislature had to deal with the pension applications for those veterans who served in the American Revolutionary War. This is a listing of those periods when the veterans attempted to secure a pension. Most were refused, due to the fact that North Carolina had no money to pay them with. This "index is arranged alphabetically and lists the applicant's name, county of residence at the time the application was made, the date the application was received in the Confederate pensions office, and the application number.
