Ally is a teenage songwriter with horrible stage fright. Austin is an aspiring singer with the inability to write songs. Austin borrows one of Ally's songs and after his performance he becomes an overnight internet sensation. Now they struggle to work together, the conservative shy girl and the rebellious, immature guy.
